Welcome to my page! This is my 15th year with Muscle Shoals City Schools! GO TROJANS! I currently teach Project Lead The Way AP Computer Science Principles and Computer Science Essentials courses. I am also the Co-Op Coordinator, MSHS SkillsUSA (Computer Science) Advisor and Robotics Coach. I am a National Board Certified Teacher in CTE: Information Technology. I earned my Master's from Auburn University, Bachelor's from the University of North Alabama, and Associates from Northwest Shoals Community College. I am currently a member of the National Cyber Teachers Academy to earn a Master's Certificate in Cybersecurity by July 2026. I hold numerous certifications in various programming languages (HTML and CSS, HTML5, Java, JavaScript, Python). I teach ACCESS courses online, which include Computer Science Discoveries and Cybersecurity. 

My husband and I grew up in the Shoals area. We have been happily married for 23 years and have two children. Our children attend the University of Alabama (Madelyn - Senior, Civil Engineering Major) and Muscle Shoals High School (Ben - Fishing Team). I love spending time with my family and friends! My hobbies include the outdoors (sports), reading, traveling, and new technology. I look forward to a great school year!
