Sunscreen Act

Muscle Shoals City Schools encourages the use of sunscreen for our students. Students may possess and apply FDA regulated over-the-counter sunscreen at school and school-based events. If a parent or guardian would like a school employee to apply sunscreen to a student, a Parent Prescriber Authorization Form (PPA) must be completed, signed by the parent or guardian, and presented to the school nurse. A physician order is not required. The PPA can be found under the forms section of the School Health website.
Backpack Act
