Hello!  I began teaching at McBride Elementary in 2000.  I have taught various fifth grade subjects at McBride for the past 22 years.  Currently, I am teaching 5th Grade math and social studies.  I love teaching and especially love the relationships that are built as my students are learning.  I attended the University of North Alabama where I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education.  I began teaching at McBride and immediately went back to the Universtity of North Alabama and earned a Master's Degree in Elementary Educaion.  After teaching 16 years at McBride, I earned an Educational Specialist degree as well from the University of North Alabama.
