Welcome to fourth grade! My name is Tasha Byrd and I am excited to be teaching fourth grade Reading and English Language Arts at McBride Elementary School.  I am on my 16th year of teaching.  I have been in the Muscle Shoals City School System for 14 years. I have had wonderful teaching experiences in fourth grade.  The McBride family is truly one of a kind and I am honored to be a part of it.

I was born and raised in Fayette, Alabama.  My husband, Jamie and I have three daughters.  Chloe and Ava are our twins and Lola Claire is the youngest.  It is definitely a girl's world in my household.

When I'm not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, church family, reading, and traveling.
