Mrs. Vaughn offeres a Dual Enrollment course through UNA CIS 125. This is a basic introductory course for Computer Applications that is typically required for most all degreees. This course will also transfer out as a regular course from University of North Alabama to other colleges to meet thier computer literacy requirements.
Theses courses are all designed to prepare students with the desire to enter any business related college major or job field. Students will learn money management skills, Microsoft Office Suite, Accounting (required of all students in business related college undergraduate degree), Intuit Quickbooks, and on-the-job skills as a bank teller. I am very excited to offer these programs at Muscle Shoals. I feel it is essential to better prepare students for their first year of college and/or the workforce and providing a solid background in these areas will be beneficial in any area they choose to pursue.
