I am the Media Specialist at McBride. I absolutely love working with each and every student in the library. It is my passion to instill a love of reading and a curiosity and thirst for utilizing technology in their every day lives. 

This is my 15th year in education. I taught 2nd, 3rd, and 5th grades before becoming a media specialist 7 years ago. I graduated from the University of Alabama in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education. I obtained a Master's Degree as a Library Media Specialist in 2007 and an Ed.S in Library Media in 2019. 

My husband, Dusty, teaches at Muscle Shoals High School and coaches Varsity football and track. We have two children. Avery Claire is 9 and in 4th grade at McBride. Bennett will be 5 in October and is in Pre-K.
